SCITT and School Direct Non-Salaried

Tuition Fees

SCITT and School Direct non-salaried trainees are student teachers. This means they have the same status as students at universities even though they have selected a school based route. Trainees on our F/T course will need to pay fees of £9150 and those on the 2 year P/T course will need to pay £6000 per year but can apply for a loan from the Student Loans Company to cover this fee. Trainees wishing to apply for a loan from the Student Loans Company for 19/20 need to submit an undergraduate tuition fee loan application, the course information required is detailed below:

School Direct Salaried

Trainees on the School Direct Salaried route are employed by the school and are therefore not eligible for additional financial support. The school will pay the programme fees and salary will be negotiated with them as part of an employment contract.
