SCITT and School Direct non-salaried trainees are student teachers. This means they have the same status as students at universities even though they have selected a school based route. Trainees on our course will need to pay fees of £8900 but can apply for a loan from the Student Loans Company to cover this fee. This needs to be done via the Student Loans Company website. Take a look at Student Finance’s Quick Start Finance Guide for more information.
