If you prefer to spend more time training in the classroom, putting theory into practice and gaining confidence through increased contact with the school environment, then a SCITT programme is a good option for you.
The School Direct programme is for high-quality graduates who want to feel part of a school team whilst training. The salaried route provides an employment based option where trainees have a teaching commitment in addition to the training.
The AO route allows you to demonstrate that you already meet all of the standards for QTS without the need for any further training so if candidates are successful through selection, they move straight into the assessment process.
